Hey there! I'm Will, a lover of food, cooking, and drink (a little too much sometimes). I was raised in Bury, a large town in Greater Manchester. I had an excellent culinary upbringing, thanks to my Mum and Dad. Both parents have a contrasted style of cooking, but produce some of the best homely food you will ever taste! My Mum is a very orthodox cook - sticks to the recipe with precision and knows what she is good at. My Dad however, is a 'chuck it in the pan and see' kind of bloke, and in a magical way produces unique and delicious food. Luckily, for me both of their styles have rubbed off. I love the order and boundaries of following a recipe, but also love the adventure of going with the flow and hoping I create something wonderful.

Although, I have had these fantastic role models in my life I feel I have never had my cooking identity. This was at least until I met the love of my life Rachel. She will get mentioned a bit over the weeks, after all she is my Guinea-pig for the all the cooking I will be doing. Together, I feel like we have been on a food journey. Our love of food and drink and brought us closer together, and my favourite time is sitting with her, a bottle of wine, or a G&T around the table nibbling on tapas. This is how I found my obsession with Spanish food. Most of my cooking, however was Spanish influenced before I even knew what Spanish cooking was. I am amazed at times how powerful food can be. It can cheer you up in an instant, make you speechless and at times it can ruin your day. Through these little adventures with my partner in crime, my love for food has grown and a hunger to sample new and exciting twists on food has developed.
